THIEVES have struck at a Herefordshire pub – but the culprits made off with a weird item from the toilets worth up to £300.

The Garway Moon Inn has been run by Ash and Andreza Ramessar for the past five years but said it was "seriously not cool" that the culprits had stolen some massive horns from the men's toilets.

The pub, between Ross-on-Wye and Ewyas Harold, said someone had gone out of their way to detach the massive horns, get them through the bathroom window and steal them.

A police report had been filed for theft and vandalism, but the pub wants anyone with information to contact them.

In a message to the thief, or thieves, the pub said: "We suggest you bring them back – seriously not cool."

The pair added: "We don't have much information about the horns, I'm afraid.

"They had been here already when we took over the pub in June 2018, so we don't know where they came from or how much they cost.

"They are estimated to be valued at around £250 to £300 though."

Anyone with information can call the pub on 01600 750 270 or send a Facebook message.
