AN ACCUSED man has denied drink-driving and driving without insurance in Herefordshire,
James Clark appeared before magistrates in Hereford in December accused of one count of driving a motor vehicle while over the alcohol limit.
The court heard from Crown Prosecution Service prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 21-year-old is accused of driving a silver Vauxhall Astra on Leadon Way in Ledbury after consuming so much alcohol that he was over the drink-driving limit, with 64 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, on November 13. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath.

He is also accused of driving the same vehicle without insurance in Ledbury on the same date.
Clark entered not guilty pleas to both charges.
The case was sent for trial and Clark, who is of Saxon Way in Ledbury will appear before a district judge in Kidderminster for his next hearing on January 20.
