A HEREFORDSHIRE woman sent nasty messages to a village Whatsapp group, a court has been told.
Ruth Dyer entered a guilty plea to one count of sending an offensive, indecent, obscene, or menacing message when she appeared before magistrates at Hereford's Bath Street Justice Centre.

The court heard from Crown Prosecution Service prosecutor Eleanor Peart that the 47-year-old defendant had send a group of messages which were of a grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene, or menacing character, by means of a public electronic communications network, namely messaging app Whatsapp, to the Adforton Village Whatsapp group on May 6.
Dyer, who is of Adforton, Herefordshire, was fined £80 for the offence, with magistrates saying they had taken her guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
She must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund support services for victims of crime.
