A DRINK-DRIVER has been banned from the roads after she was caught out on a motorway while more than twice the limit.
Elizabeth Hall admitted one count of drink-driving on the day of her trial at Hereford Magistrates' Court in November after previously entering a not guilty plea at an earlier hearing.
The court heard that the 61-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Ford Focus between junctions 14 and 15 of the M4 motorway at Swindon while over the drink-drive limit on November 23.

An evidential blood test revealed that Hall had 216 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrammes.
Hall, who is of Pixley End Country Park, Trumpet, Ledbury, was fined £270 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 24 months, with magistrates saying her guilty plea on the day of trial had been taken into account when imposing the sentence.
She was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £400 and a £34 victim surcharge.
