BONFIRE night is just around the corner and many people will be marking the day across Herefordshire.

Here are a few of the fireworks displays taking place in the county in the upcoming weeks.

Kington

On Friday, October 29, Kington recreation ground will be hosting fireworks display from 6pm-8pm.

It is taking place a week early to coincide with half term and make it a truly family event.

Leominster

On November 4, the Kings Head, in Docklow, Leominster, will be putting on fireworks and a bonfire.

The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm following by the fireworks display at 7pm.

All ages are welcome and there will be glowsticks for children as well as a play area.

Hot dogs, burgers and chips will be available, and drinks will be served inside and outside in the beer garden.

Extra parking will be available.

Hereford

On November 5, Hereford Round Table will be hosting its firework night at the Livestock Market, in Roman Road.

OTHER NEWS:

As well as a fireworks display, The Beefy Boys, Origin Pizza, Divine Donuts and Black Mountain Roast and live music from Finn McGowan will be there.

All of which will be raising money for local charities.

The Forge, Hereford

The Forge, in Holme Lacy Road, Hereford, is hosting fireworks display on November 5.

The event takes place between 5pm and 7pm.

Tickets are free with a complementary free drink on entry.

Local food venders will be available if you would like to purchase hot food but will only be accepting cash.

People will need to confirm their place by signing up via an eventbrite link.

Secret Garden, Hereford

The Secret Garden, in Hereford, will also be hosting fireworks display but it is sold out.

Orleton

Taking place at the recreation ground, behind Orleton Parish Hall, on November 5. A bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm, followed by fireworks at 7pm.

The event has an entry fee of £7 for adults, £4 for children, and £20 for a family (two adults and two children).

It’s an annual display organised by Orleton Young Farmers and raises money for the Orleton and District Football Club. Refreshments are available.

Presteigne

Presteigne fireworks will be held on November 5.

The evening will start at 6.15pm with a procession from the Recycling Centre.

There will also be fire juggling, and a fire sculpture.

The firework display will begin at 6.45pm on Went’s Meadow.

The fireworks will be followed by an evening of live music and dancing.
