TWO men have denied taking a van without consent in Hereford.

Liam Joy, 26, and Jack Gallimore, 21, both entered not guilty pleas to one count of aggravated vehicle taking and vehicle damage of £5,000 or over when they appeared before magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard they are both accused of taking a Renault Master van without the consent of the owner in Hereford between December 31, 2020, and January 1, 2021, and that the van had been damaged before it was recovered.

Joy, of Hinton Avenue, Hereford, and Gallimore, of Cedar Close, Moreton on Lugg, were sent for trial and will next appear before Hereford magistrates for a case management hearing on July 20.
