A THIEF has been fined after stealing bags full of goods from Hereford's Morrisons supermarket.

John Stokes entered guilty pleas when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard the 29-year-old had stolen seven bags full of razor blades, nicotine patches, and toothbrushes from Morrisons in Hereford on November 22.

He had also driven a Volkswagen Passat without a licence or insurance on the M54 in Telford on the same date.

Stokes, of Northavon Close, Eccles, was fined a total of £332 and received eight penalty points. He must also pay costs of £200 and a £34 victim surcharge.
