I READ in the Hereford Times on April 7 that Herefordshire Council are going to spend £22,500 to create a more interconnected experience for cyclists and walkers.

The Great Western Way has been neglected by Balfour Beatty.

The council kept it tidy and looked after it, as did Amey.

OTHER NEWS:

I hope that the trees will be pruned and reduced in height, and ones that are nearly dead, removed, with holly trees and ornamental trees planted.

Perhaps the bramble bushes could be cut back, then next year we may have blackberries.

The bluebells and primose also might reappear.

For the walkers, as we walk on pavements to go to the local shops, is there any chance of the pavements being repaired and the gutters and drains being cleaned?
