HEREFORDSHIRE'S violent and sexual crime hotspots have been revealed in the latest data from the county's police force.

The latest figures show the number of violent and sexual crimes reported to each local policing town in Herefordshire in November.

Hereford City and Rural Southside

There were 92 violent and sexual offences reported to the City and Rural Southside team.

The area with the most reported crimes was Union Street, with five, while four were reported at or near the hospital and in Wye Street. Three were reported in each Bridge Street, Laburnum Grove, Laskett Lane, Maple Grove, and Springfield Avenue.

Of all the reported offences, 55 remain under investigation, while police were unable to prosecute their suspect for 31 offences.

Four suspected were charged, one referred to another organisation, and no suspect was identified for the final offence.

Hereford Northside

A total of 77 violent or sexual offences were reported to the Hereford Northside team.

The areas with the most reported crimes were Melrose Place in Broomy Hill and the Victoria Street underpass, with four each, and Keir Hardie Close, with three offences reported.

Of all the reported offences, 42 remain under investigation, police were unable to prosecute for 31, one has been referred to another organisation, two suspects have been charged, and one investigation was deemed not to be in the public interest.

Leominster

A total of 35 violent or sexual offences were reported to the Leominster team.

The areas with the greatest number of reported offences were High Street with four, and Bramlea Close and Pierrepont Road with three.

Currently 15 offences remain under investigation, police were unable to prosecute their suspect for 16 offences, two received a caution, and two were charged.

Ledbury

There were 32 violent and sexual offences reported to the Ledbury team.

Of those, 11 are still being investigated while police were unable to prosecute their suspect for 15 offences. No suspect was identified in two offences, two were referred to other organisations, one was charged, and one received a caution.

Hereford Rural North

25 violent or sexual crimes were reported to the rural north team, with the greatest number reported in Southbank, Withington (four).

Police were unable to prosecute their suspect for 12 offences, nine remain under investigation, no suspect was identified for two, and two suspects have been charged.

Ross-on-Wye

25 violent or sexual offences were reported to police in Ross, where the greatest number of crimes were reported in Hill Street (three).

Of those, 16 are still under investigation, police were unable to prosecute their suspect for eight offences, and one was charged.

Belmont Southside

There were 22 violent and sexual offences reported to the Belmont Southside team in November.

Police were unable to prosecute their suspects for 12 offences.

Nine offences remain under investigation, while one suspect has been charged.

Kington and Weobley

17 violent and sexual crimes were reported to the Kington and Weobley team. Of those, the areas with the greatest number of crimes reported were Greenfield Drive, with four, and Burton Crescent, with three.

14 offences remain under investigation, police were unable to prosecute two suspects, and one suspect has been charged.

Bromyard

A total of 17 violent and sexual offences were reported in Bromyard in the latest available data, with the most reported in Ballhurst Road (four), and Teme Close (three).

Ten remain under investigation, while police were unable to prosecute their suspect for four, two suspects have been charged for two offences, and the final reported offence has been investigated and referred to another organisation for further action.

Golden Valley

Seven violent or sexual offences were reported to police in the Golden Valley.

Of those, six remain under investigation, and one suspect has been charged.
