MORE children will be self-isolating over Christmas after further coronavirus cases were found at a Hereford school.
Year 5 and 6 pupils and their teachers at St Martin's Primary School in Hereford were told they would have to self-isolate for 10 days after a number of the school community tested positive for the virus.
In a letter to parents on Monday, executive headteacher Tracey Kneale and head of school Sue Jenkins said three classes at the Hollybush Walk school were affected, but did not confirm how many people had tested positive for Covid-19.

But in an update yesterday evening (December 21), the school confirmed further cases had been found, affecting another year group at the school.
"We have been made aware that we have several confirmed positive cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) in the Year 4, 5 and 6 classes at St Martin’s School," the school said.
"We have followed the national guidance and all children and adults in those classes need to self-isolate.
"Year 4 pupils and staff from 4W need to isolate until December 30.
"Year 5 pupils and staff from 5P and 5D will need to isolate until December 30.
"Year 6 pupils and staff from 6JW need to isolate until December 27.
"Year 6 pupils and staff from 6CW need to isolate until December 24."
It is the second time the primary school, which has around 360 pupils according to Ofsted, has confirmed coronavirus cases.
On November 14, a letter sent to parents said a reception class pupil had tested positive.
