A MAN has been handed a community order after he was caught with class A drugs in Hereford.

Liam Nott admitted the offence when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford on October 28.

Magistrates heard the 32-year old had been caught in possession of a wrap of diamorphine, in Hereford on October 14.

More court news:

He was also found to have two wraps of crack cocaine and 15 tablets of class C controlled drug Etizolam on the same date.

Nott, of Ruckhall Lane, Belmont, received a 12-month community order and must complete a six-month drug rehabilitation programme. He was also fined £40 and must pay a £95 victim surcharge.

No costs order was made due to a lack of means and the drugs were ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.
