THE Christmas holidays are set to start earlier than planned for one Herefordshire primary school.
Leintwardine Primary School has taken the decision to close on December 20 as localised flooding and continuing poor weather have left staff unable to get to and from the school.
Several flood alerts are in force for Herefordshire this week, with further heavy rainfall forecast in the county tonight.
