IT was a clean sweep for the Liberal Democrats in Ludlow in the Shropshire Council elections.
Vivienne Parry (Ludlow south), Tracey Huffer (Ludlow East) and Andy Boddington (Ludlow North) all won comfortably whilst Richard Huffer held his seat in Clee.
Elsewhere is was ‘as you were’ in south Shropshire with the Conservatives winning both seats in Church Stretton and Craven Arms, Cleobury Mortimer’s two seats were split between a Conservative and an Independent.
The Liberal Democrats were successful in Bishops Castle and Clun.
However, the Conservatives comfortably retained control in Shire Hall.
