SECRETARY James Dunn was disappointed Leominster could not hold to a win against county rivals Hereford.
Leominster twice took the lead, but had to settle for a 2-2 draw in the De Cymru & The Marches 1 of the GoCrea8 Hockey League.
"We dominated large parts of the game, especially in the second half," said Dunn.
Josh Watkins opened the scoring for Leominster after the break before Rob Willis equalised for Hereford.
Watkins restored Leominster's advantage by firing the ball home from a narrow angle before Jack Rowsell missed a penalty flick.
Leominster then had a goal disallowed and Hereford made it 2-2 thanks to Tom Clarke.
"Either team could have won it, but a draw was a fair result," said Hereford captain Kyle Drew.
