PRESTEIGNE are all but mathematically sure of promotion from South Wales League Division One after a 4-1 success over struggling Penarth 3rd.
The border club suffered a shock when Penarth scored in the first minute but battled back to equalise through Charlotte Jones.
After the break, Jess Goodwin put Presteigne ahead from a penalty corner and then provided the pass for Charlie Morris to extend the lead.
Another pass from Goodwin played in Morris for her second to ensure that Presteigne need just a single point from their final three games to be absolutely sure of going up.
