Swindon Town 6 Hereford United Youth 2.

A BRACE from Chris Freddi could not stop Hereford United from crashing to a heavy defeat in their third match in the Puma Youth Alliance Cup.

The pace and power of Swindon’s wide player Lloyd Macklyn was a constant threat to Hereford’s defence throughout the match.

Swindon went ahead in the third minute but Hereford should have equalised when Ashley Stubbs headed wide a Jak Lewis free-kick.

Freddi hauled Hereford level in the 15th minute but Swindon hit back twice to lead 3-1 at the interval.

Tyler Weir almost added a second for Hereford when his cross-shot struck the crossbar.

Although Freddi hit a second goal for Hereford after the break, Swindon found the net three times to run out comfortable winners.
