LUCTONIANS made it two wins from two in the GB Liners Marches League after taking a nine-wicket victory over Ross-on-Wye.

Ross looking for their first victory chose to bat and made a good start reaching 67-3. However, bowler Matt Bengry soon hit form finishing on 5-46 and the visitors were eventually bowled out for 167 off 38.5 overs with wicket keeper Jim Lewis top scoring on 39.

In response opener Ian Probert hit 75 and James Platford finished on an unbeaten 73 as they reached their target finishing on 171-1 within 30 overs.

Paul Williams hit 121 for Garnons as they closed the gap at the top of Division One after beating Builth Wells by 129 runs.

Williams alongside Andy Johnson (61) helped their side to reach 308-5 and despite a stand of 75 from Builth Wells captain Sam Williams his side were bowled out for 179 with Alan Jones finishing on 5-35.

Goodrich remain top after taking a comfortable seven wickets victory over Dales who they bowled out for 80 off 22.4 overs.

In response opener Sam Griffiths hit an unbeaten 54 and despite his side losing two quick wickets they finished on 84-3 within 13.1 overs.

Cannon Frome remain top of Division Two following a 173 runs win over Ledbury.
