FIFTEEN-year-old Tyler Harvey from Whitecross High School is the 0800 Reverse Mountain Board Schools Champion for 2006.
Twelve schools took part from four counties, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. In total 42 riders competed in the challenge at the Out to Grass Mountain Board centre in Cradley.
Joint second were Peter and Tony Foster representing John Masefield High School in Ledbury. Fourth was Matthew Coe from King Alfred's Sports College in Oxfordshire and in fifth place James Howe from Tenbury High School.
As well as taking home the trophy, Tyler also won the new Big Air DVD, a £50 voucher - to spend at MaxTrack - and a £150 voucher for sports equipment for his school.
Roger Swannell, who organised the event, said: "I am delighted that so many schools and students came along to compete. We had a fantastic day, the parents and children have given us some very positive feedback and we have promised to hold the event again next year."
