TWO former Hereford and County Athletic Club athletes Anna Robertson (Gloucester AC) and Vanessa Brann (Bristol & West AC) were reunited and both struck gold when they represented Gloucestershire in the South West Inter Counties Athletic Championships at Exeter.
Robertson, now supported by thePoint4 of Hereford and strength and conditioning coach Ben Harwood, celebrated in two field events.
A personal best in the shot put of 10.16m won her the gold and she also collected a silver in the hammer with a throw of 42.37m with her county team-mate Bola Ogun, from Nigeria, winning the gold.
Under-23 athlete Robertson is currently ranked 15th in the UK in the hammer and 38th in the shot put.
Under-20 runner Brann won her gold on the track in the 5000m with a time of 21.31.8.
