HEREFORDSHIRE’S James Bevis has shot his way to the World Championships in Croatia later this month.
Bevis was outstanding at the National Championships in Aylesbury.
The marksman won the standing section in the three-day event, bringing home two golds after shooting 596 and 597 out of 600.
In the prone event, Bevis won two silvers with 599 and 598. He achieved a score of 105.9 in the final.
Bevis now has a week’s heat training at Bedford University in preparation for the World Championships.
