SCHOOLGIRL Olivia Wilding clinched two titles and set a new record at the Hereford and Worcester County Athletics Championships.

The Bishop of Hereford’s Bluecoat School pupil shone in the 80m hurdles, winning two titles, achieving two English Schools’ qualifying times and setting a new championship record.

She also proved unbeatable in the 200m event, winning in a personal best time of 25.9sec.

Sam Griffiths grabbed bronze in the inter-girls 100m final and qualified for English Schools.

Kington duo Rhys and Analese Park also produced fine individual performances to win at county and inter-county level.

Analese ran 2min 17sec in the 800m at the Mason Trophy to take first place with ease.

Rhys also gave a fine display and his winning time of 10min 5sec in the 3,000m, secured a place at the English Schools’ Championships.

Wigmore’s Emma Crooke dominated the inter-girls discus, consistently producing performances of around 34m.

She will be joined at the English Schools by Stephanie MacNally, inter girls shot, and Minster’sTom Fellows in the junior boys hammer.
