HEREFORD Cathedral School boat club members collected a clutch of wins at Worcester in the inter-regional trials for a place in the West Midlands team.
Any crew winning their category would represent the West Midlands team in the Inter-regional regatta at Nottingham in April.
In the first division, five Cathedral crews raced, Simon George and Dave Smith won gold in the J16 2-, Kate Jones won silver in the WJ15 1x, and Ben Jones won bronze in the J15 1x.
In the second division five crews entered. Neil Cockburn and Ben Pratt won gold in the J16 2x, Steph Street and Ellie Smith won gold in the WJ16 2x, George Lort and Simon Williamson won bronze in the J15 2x.
In the third division, five crews entered, Ben Pratt, Simon George, Dave Smith and Neil Cockburn won gold in the J16 4x, George Lort, Ben Jones, Simon Williamson and George Lennox with Emma Leeman (Cox) won Gold in the J15 4x, Ellie Smith and Steph Street won gold in a composite 8, and Kate Jones, Leah Costello, Isabel Handcock, Isabel Timmerman and Emily Burdett (Cox) won silver in the WJ15 4x.
