HEREFORD moved up to third spot in Midlands 2 West after coming back from 10-3 down at Wyeside.
The hosts dominated the second half, with the wind in their favour, and turned a 10-8 interval deficit into an emphatic victory.
The win included a man-of-the-match display from scrum-half Billy Grisman who bagged two tries.
There was also a superb try from Nick Harrison in which the ball was moved through the hands of a host of Hereford players.
With a strong win at their backs in the first half, Solihull started well and John Robinson kicked an early penalty.
Hereford suffered a blow when Ceiron Griffiths was sin-binned for taking matters into his own hands after the visitors repeatedly killed the ball.
Hereford drew level through a Dean Powell penalty before Solihull regained the lead when Aaron Higgins collected his own kick and scored a converted try under the posts.
Solihull centre Luke Smith was sin-binned and, with a one-man advantage, Sean Day scored a try in the corner to leave Hereford trailing 10-8 at half time.
Hereford played open rugby in the second half and good work by Ali McColl at the base of a scrum fed Grisman to score. Powell converted.
With Hereford dominant up-front, McColl fed Grisman to cross for his second try 10 minutes later.
Kieram Hallam raced in for a try on 63 minutes and, with Powell slotting over the conversion, Hereford led 27-10.
The hosts scored again straight from the kick off when the ball was moved through the hands and then Harrison crashed over after quickly-recycled ball.
Powell added two more points with the conversion and Harrison and Day both crossed in the last 10 minutes to complete the rout.
