Gray’s 96-break helps to extend Miller Boys’ lead in Hereford Snooker League

MILLER Boys have extended their lead at the top of the Hereford Snooker League after a 4-1 success against close rivals Farmers C.

They were in top form as Andy Gray opened with a 96 break, the highest of the season, and was followed by Stuart Roberts (36), Wayne White (33) and John Juckes (33). Tonto Williams avoided the whitewash.

With Potting Shed Z v Military B cancelled, Way off Cue moved up the league after a 3-2 success at Police A.

They were 2-1 down but hit back to win through Adrian Price (27 break) and Kim Lawrence.

Flukey Few edged out Reds 3-2, Paul Jenkins winning well. Farmers A had a rare win as they defeated WTC, George Evans winning the decider.

Potting Shed M have extended their lead at the top of Division 2 as they defeated Farmers B, Geoff Bromage the only winner for the home side.

RESULTS, DIVISION 1: Police A 2 Way off Cue 3, Flukey Few 3 Reds 2, P Shed Z P v Military B P, WTC 2 Farmers A 3, Miller Boys 4 Farmers C 1.

DIVISION 2: Railway 3 P Shed Y 2, Herodians 3 Sidings 2, Farmers B 1 P Shed M 4, P Shed X 3 Legionares 2.
