Pegasus Juniors 1 Highworth Town 2 PEGASUS slipped to a narrow defeat in this midweek fixture in the FTL Futbol Hellenic League Premier Division.
Mark Davies rattled the bar and had an effort ruled out for offside before Highworth took the lead against the run of play when the ball struck Pegasus defender Daniel Sobocinski and bounced into the net.
Highworth doubled their lead, before the break, from another quick attack.
Matt Bennett unleashed an unstoppable low drive past James Morgan.
Pegasus reduced the deficit in the 65th minute after Anthony Robbins had rattled the bar.
Chris Mortlock’s follow-up shot was blocked and then Ben Price was on hand to fire home.
The Hereford side created further chances but could not find an equaliser.
