HEREFORD Racecourse’s executive director, Simon Lee, has left to take up an Ashes challenge.
Lee has been appointed as the new stadium director at Glamorgan County Cricket Club who have stepped up their preparations for the historic Ashes Test at the SWALEC next July. The venue will host a Test match for the first time when England and Australia meet in the opening match of the 2009 Ashes series.
Lee has also had spells at the Celtic Manor, Millennium Stadium and Newport Rugby Club.
