HEREFORD boss Paul Caddis was impressed by the pace of new signing Cosmos Matwasa.

The 23-year-old winger started his career with Anstey Nomads before moving to Stamford FC.

He played for The Daniels in their FA Trophy run before being knocked out by Hereford – the year the Bulls were beaten finalists.

Brackley Town signed the youngster two years ago after he impressed on trial.

After being released by Brackley the winger has now been signed by Hereford.

“I am really pleased to have signed Cosmos,” said Caddis to the club’s website.

“He is a player I know our brilliant supporters will react to. He’s a player with attributes I really like.

“He possesses huge pace and power but most importantly he’s a brilliant team mate who will work tirelessly up and down the pitch.

“With a strong core of the group in place and with Cosmos addition and what he brings to the team we are really pleased with the signing.

“As always we look forward to welcoming Cos into the group.”
