TWO Hereford boxers took centre stage at the prestigious annual Midland Area Professional Boxing awards.

Liam O’Hare won an award for his outstanding performance in taking the Super Middleweight title after beating Jack Hutsby, the local favourite on his home ground, by technical knockout.

It was the culmination of a remarkably successful year and 2024 promises to see this local man challenge for a British title.

Another up-and-coming professional boxer out of the The City of Hereford Boxing Academy stable, Danny Williams, was delighted to receive the award for the best bout of 2023 in an all-out action four-round contest which impressed the judges.
