HEREFORD FC have signed forward Ethan Freemantle on a three-month loan from Kidderminster Harriers.

The 23-year-old is a product of the Walsall and then Harriers’ academies and was part of last season’s promotion winning squad.

Hereford boss Paul Caddis told the club’s website: “I’m delighted to bring Ethan in on a short-term loan.

“It’s by no means a secret we have been short in the forward areas but I maintain my stance in bringing in the right type of character and player, rather than players immediately available to us.

“Ethan matches exactly what I’ve been looking for. He has an enthusiastic work ethic to his play and also experience at this level.

“We made it no secret when Ethan became available we would do what we could to get him on board and thankfully we have finally agreed to a loan deal.

“I’d like to thank Russ Penn and everyone at Kidderminster Harriers FC for their co-operation in getting the deal done.

“Added to that, Ethan has been granted permission to play in FA Cup fixtures which is a huge positive for us.

“I look forward to working with Ethan and I have no doubt that through his character, work ethic and desire, our supporters will take to him instantly.”
