HEREFORD Pegasus made it five league victories on the bounce with a dramatic 4-3 home win over Longlevens.

After beating Westfields at the weekend Pegasus were in a buoyant mood as Jordan Williamson fired them ahead with a fine strike from 30 yards out.

However, on the 30-minute mark Longlevens were level after the hosts failed to clear a free-kick and Shiyak Sutherland struck to level the game at half-time.

Longlevens went ahead three minutes into the second half when Nathan Payne ran through on goal.

On the 55th minute mark the visitors looked in control when Brad Martin fired them into a 3-1 lead.

However, Cawley Cox pulled a goal back for Pegasus before Carlos Moreira struck the equaliser 12 minutes from time.

In the sixth minute of stoppage time Pegasus struck a dramatic winner after a ball into the box was flicked on by Saul Thomas and Mike Burgess struck the winner.

Looking to bounce back from their defeat against Pegasus at the weekend Westfields hosted newly promoted Pershore Town.

Fields started positively with Daniel Stoneman and Archie Muirhead hitting the post. Muirhead was on hand to capitalise on a goalkeeping error to head the hosts ahead on 18 minutes.

However, Pershore equalised through a Sam Clark header and then Aidan Clarke struck the winner.

Coming into the Pershore match Fields manager Phil Glover was looking for a reaction from his side after their weekend defeat to Pegasus.

“Games come thick and fast and we need a reaction,” said Glover.

“The lads are hurting after that. I kept them behind after the game and it’s not a feeling the lads want to get used too and are not used too.”

This weekend Pegasus and Westfields are in FA Vase action. Peggy make the trip to Market Drayton Town, while Fields host Worcester Raiders.
