HEREFORD Pegasus Ladies maintained their titles hopes and gave their goal difference another boost after running out 15-0 winners over Wyre Forest.

Despite the final score-line the hosts had to wait until the 14th minute to open the scoring when Amy Bradley's cross was converted from close range by Kaye Haggett.

The lead was doubled six minutes later when Sarah Bishop latched on to a Emily Morgan through ball to coolly finish.

Ella Bowen then extended the advantage within 60 seconds of the restart before Bradley added her name to the scoresheet in the 23rd minute with an effort from the edge of the penalty area following good work by Haggett to win the ball back.

Scarlett Teague made it 5-0 when she headed home at the far post from Bowen's 29th minute corner before Haggett netted her second of the match two minutes later. Bowen netted her second goal in the 35th minute after bursting past a couple of defenders and finishing past the Wyre Forest custodian.

Pegasus were quick off the mark at the beginning of the second half when captain Morgan found the net from the edge of the penalty area after the ball was laid into her path by substitute Abbie Wilson.

Roxy Dinescu scored at the second attempt two minutes later after driving in off the left flank before it was Wilson's turn to add her name to the tally when she converted a Lewis cross from the byline.

Louize Watson added a further goal in the 57th minute with a predatory close-range finish from a Dinescu cross.

Emily Lewis struck an upright 15 minutes later but Dinescu was on hand to tap home the rebound.

Bradley then ran onto a Lewis through ball within two minutes of the restart and maintained her composure to finish past the advancing goalkeeper.

Bowen completed her hat-trick in the 79th minute before Lewis concluded the scoring with two minutes remaining on the clock.
