HEREFORD Pegasus Ladies extended their unbeaten run in the Midwest Counties League to 14 matches with a 16-1 victory over Arley Kings.

The result meant that the home team saw their goal difference move into three figures whilst maintaining the pressure on league leaders Malvern Town.

Pegasus made the perfect start when Amy Bradley netted in the third minute after running on to a Kaye Haggett through ball.

Scarlete Teague doubled the advantage from a 23rd minute corner when she forced the ball home from close range before captain Emily Morgan netted the third goal for Pegasus two minutes later.

Bradley ran through on goal to complete her brace on the 30-minute, Roxy Dninescu made it 5-0 and then Emily Lewis completed the first half scoring.

Pegasus showed no mercy in the second half with Dinescu and Lewis both finishing on four goals each as the hosts ran riot.

Ella Bowen netted a second half hat-trick while Bradley also finished with three goals for her afternoon work.

The visitors did pull a goal back courtesy of a 30-yard strike from Bobbie-Jade Baker.

However, the hosts were in firm control and Abi Wilson added her name to the score sheet before referee Clive Wilkins sounded the final whistle.
