STUDENTS from the Herefordshire Ludlow & Nth Shropshire College have gone goal crazy in their opening two league matches.

The Cheltenham Town Development Centre Hereford based side took on a Bristol City B side at their home pitch at Victoria Park.

A squad full of first year students from Herefordshire Ludlow & Nth Shropshire College and a sprinkling of their second-year students, embarked on their English Football League Community Education Football Alliance campaign, hosting Bristol City “A” at Victoria Park in Hereford.

The Hereford youngster put on a fantastic against a weakened Bristol squad.

However the Herefordshire boys were ruthless and ran out 24-3 winners.

Jimmy Griffiths topped the scoring with six goals while Lucas Gillam and Kyrylo Kliuchko scored five each.

Connor Cushing netted a hat-trick while further goals came from Oscar Rhodes, Ashton Jenks, Tyler Peacey and James Young while there was also an own goal.

Next to visit Victoria Park was Bristol B in the students’ second English Football League Community Education Football Alliance game.

Again the Hereford players brought into the high tempo ethos and style of play they had be taught to run out comfortable 9-0 winners.

Kliuchko led the way with a hat-trick while Griffiths and Gillam scored a brace each.

Jenks also found the net along with skipper James Wagstaff.
