A FOOTBALL tournament planned for this Sunday in Hereford has been postponed due to the extreme heat forecasted.
The Thank You Trophy organised by the Herefordshire FA has been re-arranged for Sunday, July 31.

"Given the weather warning for Sunday and the fact that 3G pitches are often a couple of degrees warmer than surrounding areas, we have reluctantly decided to postpone the Thank You Trophy," a Herefordshire FA statement said.
"Whilst this is obviously disappointing, the decision is hopefully understandable.
"We are however delighted to confirm a new date of July 31.
"We look forward to welcoming you all a couple of weeks later than planned, in much cooler temperatures!"
