GREYHOUND moved up to second position in the Midlands 5 West (South) after a fine 54-7 victory over Stourport.
A hat-trick of tries from Elliot Phillips helped his side to the clear victory while Kevin Murphy was amongst the other try scorers.
Having a busy afternoon Bobby Williams kicked the extras.
The fitness of the Hereford Racecourse side showed after leading 12-0 at half-time before running riot after the break.
The win was an eighth from 11 matches for the Hereford side.
However, they sit 15 points behind leaders Birmingham & Solihull who have won 11 of their 12 league matches.
With half of the season played Greyhound lead a close battle for second place which sees four teams separated by just two points.
Greyhound are at home again this Saturday when they host eighth placed Keresley with the game taking place at Hereford Racecourse at 2.15pm.
