HEREFORDSHIRE farmer Roger Chilman will be one of the favourites when he takes on the prestigious Roger Albert Clark Rally later this week.
The five-day race will see 150 cars leave the Carlisle start today (Thursday) for some 328 competitive miles over 31 timed special stages on a total route of 1,140 miles, before a late afternoon finish at Camarthen Showground on Monday.
Chilman will be alongside co-driver Patrick Walsh and they prepared their Securcom, Dansford, Morspan, Connop & Sons, Evans Cleaning, Pirelli backed Escort RS1800 at Sweet Lamb rally complex recently.
The Wales Motorsport prepared car never missed a beat as the duo rocked up the miles in both daylight and darkness in readiness for the event.
