HEREFORD skipper Jared Hodgkiss says his team-mates were ‘distraught’ after suffering their first away defeat of the season.
A ninth minute Luke Charman header was all that separated the sides and despite Hereford throwing everything forward in the second half they failed to find an equaliser.

“We’ve been on a good run the last four or five games so that’s a difficult one to take,” said Hodgkiss talking to Keith Hall after the defeat.
“The lads are distraught in there because we’ve played well today really. A lapse in concentration for their goal but overall we were the better team.
