POTTING Shed Z retain leadership of the Military Hereford Snooker League despite losing at home to close rivals Miller Boys who are now equal on points although the Zs do have a game in hand.
Tom Cousins got the Zs off to a winning start before the Miller Boys took control. Andy Gray put together a 29 break and John Juckes had a break of 54 to win the last.
Military B are also on the same points after a whitewash of Herodians although the last two frames were won on the black.
With Potting Shed M without a match, Police A also moved up the table after a closely fought win at Flukey Few. Tim Bunclark won the first for the home side but the Police took the next three before Alec Hoskins won the last to close the gap.
Potting Shed A moved off the bottom with a fine 4-1 away win at Farmers A George Evans winning the last to avoid the whitewash.
Farmers B are the new leaders of Division 2 after a 3-2 success at Potting Shed X, Luke Rolfe winning the decider.
