  • Hereford started perfectly and had a fifth minute lead when Jared Hodgkiss' cross was headed down for Michael Bakare to rifle home the opener.
  • The opening 25 minutes saw the Bulls offer their National League opponents very little in the way of chances.
  • The pressure of the Bulls stifled out the hosts in the opening quarter of the tie.
  • With little chance for either side Kyle Finn tried his luck from range but lashed his effort wide.
