HEREFORD FC are under investigation by the FA due to ‘discrepancies within some of the players contracts’.
A statement released by Hereford FC said: “It has recently been brought to our attention that there were discrepancies within some of the players contracts that have been lodged with the FA.
The issues date back to the start of the season, with our contracted players, and we are pleased to advise that after working with the FA and the players that we have now resolved this with the majority of those concerned.”
Rob Crawford, Hereford FC chairman, told the club’s website: “We would like to thank the players for their understanding and commitment to Hereford FC during this process.
“We are not able to comment on specifics as this is a live ongoing investigation but we look forward to a successful conclusion.”
