- Despite the Bulls starting well it was Curzon who had the opening chance when Josh Askew saw his shot vitally blocked by Jordan Cullinane-Liburd.
- Will Henry was then forced into action to palm away a well-hit Connor Dimaio shot.
- Curzon eventually took a 15th minute lead when from another set-piece cost the Bulls.
- Loanee goalkeeper Will Henry failed to claim a cross before blocking Dimaio's shot only for Mohamud Ali to smash home the rebound.
- The match was then delayed by five minutes when referee Scott Simpson was taken off injured and commentator Mark Ammonds was called out of the stand to run the line.
