A HEREFORDSHIRE teenager has been selected to play for a regional lacrosse team after impressing while playing for her school.
Luella Hay, from Bridstow, is among six Year 10 pupils at Monmouth School for Girls selected to play for the South West Lacrosse Super-Counties squad.
Hay and fellow Monmouth students Olivia Armstrong, Erlina Ainsworth, Izzy Crewe-Read, Martha Chapman and Tallulah Freeman have just completed two regional tournaments at under-15 level.
The girls are continuing to make good progress in the fast-paced sport.
