    TAMWORTH beat Hereford on penalties 3-1 after the sides drew 0-0 following extra-time.
  • The visitors almost had a shock sixth minute lead when a long ball was flicked through for Dan Creaney, only for the striker to be denied by the leg of Brandon Hall.
  • Peter Vincenti was influential in the Bulls attack won the ball for Tommy O'Sullivan who cut inside before forcing an aerobatic save from Jasbir Singh.
  • Loanee Vincenti forced Singh back into action moments later with an effort from the edge of the box which was tipped out the bottom corner.
  • Singh was forced into action again before the break denying Jordan Nicholson's curling effort.
  • The game exploded after the break and Jacob Jagger Cane saw his effort inside the box cleared off the line.
  • Moments later the Bulls were caught napping but Tyrell Waite blazed over from close range.
  • With 12 minutes left on the clock Nicholson almost settled the tie but blazed over when Vincenti pulled the back back for the midfielder.
  • With two minutes left on the clock O'Sullivan thought he had hit the winner, but saw his close range effort blocked.
  • Into extra-time the Bulls started brightly with Tommy O'Sullivan heading wide at the front post.
  • Tamworth remained dangerous on the break and Dan Creaney headed over from a free-kick when unmarked inside the box.
  • Hall was then forced to deny Rhys Hoenes with a close range save after the visitors broke through.
  • Creaney was next to go close for the Lamb, but sent his effort just wide.
