  • The opening chance came after nine minutes when Simeon Maye's cross found skipper Josh Gowling who headed his effort off the bar.
  • Maye's set pieces were causing the hosts problems and his free-kick found Mike Symons who headed over.
  • Raheem Hanley's long throw then dropped to Tom Owen-Evans whose effort was saved well by Nathan Hawker.

  • Hereford looked for a second goal after the break and Bradley Ash saw an effort deflected wide before Liburd saw his vicious effort across goal saved.
  • With his first touch of the game after being brought on Jordan Nicholson almost doubled the Bulls lead after Ash squared to him but Nathan Harker matched his effort.
  • Ash himself was next to test the Blyth goal with a volley on the turn which had the goalkeeper beaten but flew just over.
