HEREFORD FC have confirmed the signing of 24-year-old midfielder Simeon Maye.

Maye has previously played in the National League for Solihull Moors making over 20 league appearances.

He has impressed as a trialist during pre-season friendlies against Cinderford and Wellington.

Head Coach Marc Richards told the club’s website: “Simeon has been with us from the start of pre-season. He brings energy, quality and he has the legs to get around the park.

“I’ve been really pleased with his attitude and character, he’s been great to have around and has an infectious personality. He’s fitted in well with the boys which is really important, and we’re pleased to be able to bring him in.”
