HEREFORD FC’s management are due to chat with midfielder Keyon Reffell in the coming weeks to talk about his future at the club.
The 28-year-old midfielder spent most of last season out through injury.
After starting pre-season training with the squad he played the first half against Wellington and 70 minutes during their 1-0 defeat to Cinderford Town AFC tonight.
He has yet to be offered a place in the squad for the coming season and Richards said they are meeting with him in the coming.
“Keyon has been back in pre-season and we’re having a chat with him on Wednesday because given the two injuries he sustained last year we wanted to make sure he could back-up a couple of games with minutes,” said Hereford Head Coach Marc Richards.
“He is a great lad and has been so positive through the injuries he has been through. I know he’s a fans favourite and an exciting attacking player.
"We will be sitting down with Keyon in the next couple of weeks."
