Ross-on-Wye duo Evie Lawson and Lucinda Chinn with Bibi Zijlmans, who won the team event
TWO Herefordshire riders helped their team to first place at the Schools Equestrian Games in Oxfordshire.
Thirteen-year-old Evie Lawson and 12-year-old Lucinda Chinn, who both live near Ross-on-Wye, led Monmouth School for Girls to top spot in the team event.
They were joined in the team by fellow Monmouth pupils, Bibi Zijlmans, aged 12, from Mitcheldean and 11-year-old Jessica Broome.
Zijlmans also topped the 80cms individual class and has qualified for the Schools Equestrian Games Eventing Championships taking place at Broadway, Worcestershire, in October.
