ROSS-ON-WYE could seal their second league title in as many season this weekend.

The South Herefordshire rugby side host Brockworth this weekend in the knowledge that a win will see them promoted into the Gloucestershire Premier.

Last weekend Ross recorded their seventh league win on the bounce as they beat Bredon Star 73-17.

Ross are also into the final of the North Midlands Vase and semi-final of the Forest Combination Cup.

Ledbury look set for a top-four finish after returning to winning ways with a 72-13 victory over Old Yardleians.

The hosts were given a scare early in the tie when their early score was cancelled out by a penalty and then a try in response.

George Bennion struck back with a try before his side drew back to 13-13 at the break.

With the advantage of the slope Ledbury piled forwards in the second half with Johnny Whitting scoring four, Garth Peake a brace and further scores came via Cam Hunter, Ed Mence and Charlie Barber-Starkey.

Bromyard got their revenge over promotion chasing Old Wheatlyans after suffering a 50-5 defeat earlier in the season.

Bobby Ralph and Elliot Floyd scored first half tries with Ralph adding a penalty and a conversion to take a 15-14 advantage into the break.

James Mitchell scored two in the second half and Rich Webb the other as they took a 32-26 win.
