HEREFORD Head Coach Marc Richards hopes that he can sign a striker before next week’s visit of Nuneaton.

Following the return to Cheltenham Town of loanee George Lloyd the Bulls were left with no striker on the bench for today’s 3-1 defeat by Brackley Town.

When asked if he was looking for a striker after the match, Richards replied: “Yes.

“A hundred per cent yes we are. I have always said we are looking to improve. At all levels managers are always looking for additional strikers to add to their fire power up front.

“You’ve got to make sure it’s the right person to bring in. We could go and sign strikers now but it needs to be who we think will make us better and make sure they fit into what we are doing as well.

“Don’t worry we’re definitely looking for options.”

When asked if a striker was likely to sign before next week. Richards added: “Fingers crossed yes.”
