FOWNHOPE held a minute silence ahead of their match against Tenbury Town in remembrance of former first team manager Dave Clark who lost his battle with cancer recently.
Current Fownhope manager Roy Ovel said: "It is with sadness that we report that Dave Clark who managed the Fownhope FC first team with Doug Fraser sadly lost his battle with cancer on Christmas Day.
"During their tenure they took the club from fighting relegation to a side that competed in the Herefordshire Premier League and they certainly had a considerable influence on the growth of the club during this period.
"It was Dave’s understanding of the game and his excellent people management skills that the players felt made the difference.
"Dave will be missed by Fownhope FC and the clubs thoughts are with Lynn and the family at this time."
